How to find your full Samsung refrigerator model number
Copy the complete model code from the refrigerator label before checking a replacement water filter. A family code, serial number, or filter part number cannot identify one exact refrigerator SKU.

Find the product label
- Open the fresh-food compartment and look for a label on an interior side wall above the top shelf.
- If it is not visible there, check the lower-left exterior near the front. Samsung US identifies both as refrigerator label locations.
- Photograph the label in good light, then copy the field marked model or model code exactly as printed.
- If the label location differs on your unit, use the official Samsung US refrigerator support page or model-specific manual.
Keep the complete US SKU, including its printed suffix
A complete code can look like RF22K9381SR/AA. The characters before the slash identify the model configuration; the printed /AA suffix is part of the US SKU used by this exact-match release.
Never guess, auto-complete, or append /AA. Include it only when the refrigerator label itself shows it. An entry such as RF22K9381SR remains incomplete for this checker even when a similar US SKU exists.
