LG associates UE with unevenly distributed laundry, an unsuitable load size or item, or a washer that is not level.

Safe first checks

    Pause the washer and distribute ordinary laundry evenly inside the drum.

    Remove items that the model manual says are unsuitable for machine washing.
  3. 3
    Confirm the appliance is stable and level without operating it during adjustment.

Possible causes

  • Laundry is concentrated on one side of the drum.
  • The load is too large or too small for stable spinning.
  • An unsuitable bulky or waterproof item is in the drum.
  • The washer is not level.
Stop conditions
  • Stop the cycle if the washer moves excessively or makes impact noises.
  • Request service if balanced ordinary loads repeatedly trigger UE.

Use LG support or an authorized servicer if load correction and leveling do not resolve the error.
