A drain fault associated with a restricted drain path, incorrect hose installation, or a clogged removable pump filter on applicable front-load models.

    For a model with a user-serviceable pump filter, follow the model manual and prepare for retained water before cleaning it.

Possible causes

  • Drain hose is kinked, damaged, or incorrectly positioned.
  • A front-load washer pump filter is clogged.
  • The household drain is restricted.
