Look beyond the material

A cardboard collar does not identify the bag

iRobot's bag-replacement guidance distinguishes an original cardboard bag for classic models from a newer cardboard bag. Seeing cardboard on the opening therefore does not settle which replacement to order. Use the part number and the manufacturer's model guidance rather than selecting by material or resemblance.

Before ordering

Three details to match

  1. Your equipment

    Record the complete robot model and the dock supplied with it. Keep terms such as Combo and Vac in the description. If the dock was changed, resolve which dock you now have before ordering.

  2. The accessory

    Find the manufacturer's item number on the listing and compare the named robot-and-dock combination. A retailer's broad “Roomba compatible” description is not enough to make this match.

  3. The remaining uncertainty

    If your combination is missing or unclear, ask iRobot to identify the correct bag. Do not choose whichever example looks closest.
