Step 1 · Start with the robot

Where is the Roomba model number?

iRobot’s model-finding instructions point to the underside near the left wheel. Follow your robot’s handling instructions, turn it over carefully and record the printed model. Photograph the whole label or marking so the field names stay visible.

If the marking is worn or you find an unfamiliar code, keep the photo and move to your order details. Record the robot's own label; the charging dock has its own identification.

Step 2 · Confirm the product details

Check your original order or box

Look for the product name and a field labeled Model or SKU. Copy the complete code as printed, including letters and ending digits: for example, I315020. Check easily confused characters such as the letter O and the number 0 against the original.

The name on the robot and the retail SKU can use different formats. A shorter marking is a reason to check the order, rather than add digits yourself. For a secondhand robot, ask the seller for the original product details with personal information covered.

Use the app to prepare for support

iRobot documents these routes to your serial number:

• iRobot HOME app: Product Settings → About [robot name].
• Roomba HOME app: Product Details → three-dot menu → Product Settings → About [robot name].

Send the serial number privately to iRobot support, along with your label photo and available order details, and ask which model to select for the part you need. This app route provides a serial number for support; use the model or SKU for shopping.
