LG associates IE with an interrupted water supply, a closed faucet, a disconnected or restricted inlet hose, freezing, or a possible inlet-valve fault.

Safe first checks

    Confirm the inlet hose is connected and the faucet is open.

    Check the hose for visible bending or compression.
  3. 3
    Follow the model instructions before disconnecting or cleaning an inlet filter.

Possible causes

  • Household water supply is interrupted or a faucet is closed.
  • Supply hose is disconnected, bent, pressed, or frozen.
  • The inlet filter contains debris.
  • The water inlet valve may require service.
Stop conditions
  • Turn off the water before disconnecting a supply hose.
  • Request service if the valve appears faulty or the code persists.

Use LG support or an authorized servicer if normal water supply and hose checks do not clear the error.
